DAY 1: PRAGUE
You’ll check in to your 3-star hotel in Prague (or surrounding area) before enjoying dinner.
DAY 2: PRAGUE
We’ll set out in the company of our guide for a tour of Hradcany, the Castle Quarter of Prague, which towers majestically over the capital. We’ll then move on to Mala Strana District and Charles Bridge. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner.
DAY 3: PRAGUE - LINZ
We’ll leave by coach for Linz. Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 4:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail.
DAY 4: VIENNA
Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Imperial family, followed by a panoramic tour of Vienna.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living, music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus concert hall (1). After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.
Enjoy some free time, or join us on an optional excursion proposed: visit the Hofburg. The Habsburg Palace houses the sumptuous imperial apartments. Tonight, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour Vienna by night.
DISCOVERY: Come to the lounge and learn to waltz with traditionally costumed dancers.
DAY 5: BUDAPEST
The morning will be spent cruising towards Budapest. In the afternoon, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Budapest.
DISCOVERY: Discover Budapest by bike. You'll bike down the streets of Budapest and past the most renowned sites and locations of the city.
Enjoy an evening of “operetta music” on board.
DAY 6: BUDAPEST, the Puszta
Join us for an excursion for both packages: full-day excursion to the Puszta (traditional lunch included.) Also called the Great Plain, this vast prairie was the Wild West of Hungary and immense herds of livestock grazed here under the watchful eye of the cowboys. We’ll enjoy dinner on board this evening as our ship sails throughout the night.
DAY 7: BRATISLAVA
The morning will be spent cruising towards Bratislava. In the afternoon, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Bratislava. The charm of the Slovakian capital lies in its old city: splendid Baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares.
DISCOVERY: Hiking in Bratislava: The Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, we'll take in the splendid view of Bratislava.
Afterwards, we’ll return on board and start cruising towards Dürnstein. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner.
DAY 8: DURNSTEIN - MELK
We'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley before arriving in Melk. Join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. In the afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit the Melk Abbey. We’ll return on board and start sailing towards Linz.
DAY 9: LINZ
We’ll reach Linz early this morning. Enjoy one last breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m.
