Day One: Memphis, TN 
Embark the Spirit of Adventure in the historic Old South city of Memphis. 

Day Two: Helena, AR 
Home to seven Generals of the Confederacy, Helena offers many attractions on the National Register of Historical Places. Bearing historical significance after the Confederates suffered defeat here in 1863, Helena also offers the Confederate Cemetery and Louisiana Purchase State Park, which you will see on your guided tour.

Day Three: River Cruising 
Enjoy a day of enrichment programs and relaxation on the Mississippi River.

Day Four: Vicksburg 
Vicksburg was the site of a crucial 47-day Civil War siege. Explore sprawling Vicksburg National Military Park, with its battlefields, statues and monuments to soldiers from both the North and South.

Day Five: Natchez 
Founded in 1716, this is the oldest city in Mississippi, perched on a bluff 200 feet above the river. Natchez has more then 500 antebellum structures, and its downtown is lined with antique shops and historic buildings. Explore the Frogmore Plantation and cotton gin, where visitors can learn about the history of cotton production. Guests also visit the Delta Music Museum.

Day Six: St. Francisville 
This picturesque old town is in the heart of Louisiana’s plantation country. Here explore “The Myrtles – America’s Most Haunted House,” and the beautiful Greenwood Plantation. St. Francisville is known for charming churches, gift shops, antique shops and historic buildings.

Day Seven: Vacherie/Burnside 
Today visit Oak Alley Plantation, formerly known as The Bon Sejour Plantation, for its rows of 300-year-old live oak trees. Today we will also visit Houmas House Plantation. The mansion, a National Historical Landmark is supported by 28 Doric columns and furnished with 19th-century antiques.

Day Eight: New Orleans, LA 
Disembark the Spirit of Adventure in New Orleans one of the United States’ most colorful cities, owning in part to the various cultures and heritages who have influenced its growth over the last 300 years, including: Cajun, Creole and French.
