Founded in 1947, Trafalgar Tours offers escorted tours on six continents. Travel is primarily via motor coach, but the company also offers cruises along the Nile in Egypt and the Yangtze in China. As with nearly all Nile and Yangtze cruises, Trafalgar combines several nights on a river cruise with a land tour to cover each destination's most important sights.
A knowledgeable tour director travels with you, sharing valuable insight about the culture and history of the region. Your tour director also handles travel details like hotel check-in and baggage transport, so you can focus on new experiences.
The price of your journey includes the river cruise, hotel accommodations, many meals, transportation between cities and guided sightseeing.

- River cruises are rated according to the quality of the vessel and its accommodations, the number of included amenities and activities both on and off the ship, the class of hotels used for land portions of itineraries, and the level of service delivered. Trafalgar river cruises are categorized as first class on the industry rating scale (budget, first class and deluxe).
