DAY 1: STRASBOURG
We board in Strasbourg between 5pm and 6pm (at the river port on the rue du Havre) and set sail for Mainz. After settling into our cabins, we are introduced to the crew over a welcome cocktail. Evening of entertainment. We continue our cruise through the night.
DAY 2: MAINZ - RUDESHEIM - BOPPARD
Excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : guided tour of Mainz and visit the Gutenberg Museum
DISCOVERY as a supplement : touring Rhineland vineyards
We return on board. Cruise towards Rudesheim. Free time in Rudesheim or excursion common for both packages : little train, wine tasting and visit of the mechanical musical instruments in Rudesheim.
Cruise towards Boppard through the romantic Rhine Valley. We arrive in Boppard in the evening. We have free time to explore or wander at leisure or join our on-board hostess on a discovery tour of the town.
DAY 3: BOPPARD - KOBLENZ - ALKEN
Cruise towards Koblenz. Join our on-board hostess on a discovery tour of the town. Set sail for Alken, where we arrive in the early afternoon. Excursion common for both packages : Visit to Thurant Castle. Evening of entertainment.
DAY 4: ALKEN - COCHEM
Cruise towards Cochem. We spend the morning cruising along the Moselle, whose meanders have carved out a unique landscape of incredible beauty, just crying out to be explored. This afternoon, excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : guided walking tour of Cochem.
DISCOVERY as a supplement : Hiking the Appolloweg in Cochem.
DAY 5: COCHEM - STRASBOURG
Disembark in the morning. End of our services.
The romantic Rhine River follows a remarkable route, meandering between sheer rocks, past small islands and fortified castles sitting high above the vineyards - evidence of an eventful past, enriched by great myths and legends. The Moselle also cuts through vineyards planted up the steep sloping river banks and hillsides, flowing past fortified castles and typical towns and villages where medieval-style houses have slate roofs and half-timbered walls.

Sorry, we are unable to offer air from countries other than the U.S. However, for those international customers who are able to arrange their own transportation to the trip origination city, we are able to offer the land/cruise portion of the package at the price quoted.
