Viking will debut new river cruises in India beginning in 2027. These 15-day itineraries feature guided touring and hotel nights in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur followed by an eight-day sailing on the Brahmaputra River. Highlights include visits to the Taj Mahal, Jaipur's Palace of the Winds and Kaziranga National Park.

Viking's thoughtfully designed itineraries explore local culture, cuisine and traditions through engaging experiences on and off the ship. Many port calls include tours of UNESCO World Heritage sites, for example, and ships dock right in the heart of town, putting you within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions. On board, you can enjoy lectures, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and entertaining performances, all highlighting the destinations visited.

With Viking Inclusive Value, everything you need is covered in the upfront price: your stateroom, one shore excursion in every port of call, unlimited Wi-Fi, all meals and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with onboard lunch and dinner. Specialty coffees, teas and bottled water are also provided at all times on the ship. Onboard restaurants use locally sourced ingredients and feature regional cuisine as well as familiar classic dishes.

Viking Longships are known for innovative engineering and understated elegance, featuring public areas that embrace the outdoors and are filled with natural light. The Aquavit Terrace at the bow of each 190-guest vessel serves as a viewing area and provides many opportunities for al fresco dining. All staterooms have river views, and half of them boast full-size verandas. Among the accommodation options are 445-square-foot Explorer Suites with two full rooms and a private wraparound veranda.
