Your journey into wonder begins here. Relax and raise your glass to the days ahead at this evening’s welcome reception. (Dinner)

Day 2 Amsterdam
Explore wonderful Amsterdam – with its wealth of canals, museums and bicycles.

Freechoice: Experience an iconic canal cruise or enjoy a slice of quintessential Holland at Zaanse Schans, with its windmills and open-air conservation area. Day 3 Cologne > Marksburg
Freechoice: Take a stroll through Cologne and get up close to the filigree twin towers of the famous cathedral. Alternatively enjoy a taste experience lecture on board your Scenic Space-Ship. Whatever you choose it’s a great day to see and discover.

Day 4 Rhine Gorge > Rüdesheim
Enjoy the unrivalled views of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Rhine Gorge. Then alight in Rüdesheim and board the Winzerexpress mini train for a guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum before enjoying a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument for spectacular views of the river. Day 5 Rüdesheim > Würzburg
Soak in the vistas of the Main River as you spend a full day relaxing on board your Scenic Space-Ship. Allow the passing scenery to mesmerise you from the comfort of your suite or the Sun Deck. Immerse yourself in the Old Town of Bamberg, a World Heritage-listed Site alive with history. With your knowledgeable local guide, walk the same cobbled streets as medieval traders once did. Day 8 Nuremberg
Welcome to this fascinating and ancient Bavarian city, dating back to the 11th century. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 Regensburg
From its medieval town, the bordering Bavarian Forest and the confluence of three rivers, Regensburg offers a rich tapestry of experiences.

Freechoice: Enjoy a walking tour of Regensburg or hop on board a local ferry and sail the Danube Gorge to Weltenburg Abbey, and sample beer from one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world. Day 10 Passau > Salzburg

Day 11 Melk > Dürnstein
Freechoice: Experience Melk’s magnificent 18th century Benedictine Abbey on a guided tour. Alternatively, the more active can embark on an enjoyable guided bike ride along the river from Melk to one of the most enchanting villages in the region, Dürnstein – at your own pace, of course.  Or visit a local winery for a guided tour and tasting of its fine wines.

Sundowners
As the day ends, you’ll get to enjoy a fine view at the breathtakingly beautiful Wachau Valley. You’ll be in very fine company, and will experience a wonderful day. Of course, we can’t take all the credit for this one. It’s nature who’ll provide the view, we’re just bringing the drinks. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 Vienna
Acquaint yourself with this opulent city by taking a fascinating guided tour of its most famous sights, including the Ringstrasse.

Breathe in the opulence and luxury of Palais Liechtenstein while enjoying a glass of fine Austrian Sekt. Then be enthralled by an enchanting private Viennese evening concert featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart. Day 13 Vienna

Alternatively, visit the world-renowned Spanish Riding School for either a tour of the stables or to see the famous Lipizzaner Stallions perfecting their skills during their morning exercise program. Day 14 Budapest
We find ourselves in Budapest, one of Europe’s oldest and prettiest cities.

Freechoice: Make the most of a guided tour of this city including a piano concert, or relax and unwind at the Thermal Baths and Spa. Or you can choose to experience the labyrinths of the Hospital in the Rock. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 15 Budapest > Vienna
Transfer to Vienna where you’ll enjoy a two night stay. This evening, join your fellow travellers and Tour Director for a celebratory drink. (Breakfast)

Day 16 Vienna > Salzburg
Freechoice: This morning you have the opportunity to visit the Imperial Palace and its fabulous Imperial Silver Collection, housing over 7000 items from the Habsburg monarchy. Alternatively visit the Natural History Museum, with a collection of dinosaur skeletons and the world’s oldest and largest collection of meteorites.

This afternoon we continue to Salzburg where you’ll enjoy a two night stay. (Breakfast)

Day 17 Salzburg
Today spend the morning visiting one of the city’s famed salt mine where the ‘White gold’ has been mined since the Neolithic age. Learn of the importance this natural mineral has on the economy and float across the magnificent salt lake by boat. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 18 Oberammergau
Today we journey to the town of Oberammergau. In 1633 the residents of the town vowed that if they were spared from the bubonic plague sweeping the region, they would produce a play for all time depicting the life and death of Jesus. Today you will have the privilege of attending a performance of this epic play. (Breakfast)

Day 19 Munich
This morning, visit the majestic spires of Neuschwanstein Castle and discover some of its fascinating back-story before continuing to Munich for a two night stay at one of the cities luxurious hotels. (Breakfast)

Day 20 Munich
Explore the Bavarian city of Munich with your expert local guide who’ll help you discover the wonder of this fine city, including the Marienplatz, Glockenspiel and Viktualienmarkt.

Tonight enjoy a sumptuous dinner of traditional German cuisine. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 21 Munich > Zurich
After breakfast, travel to Switzerland and its largest city, Zurich. Upon arrival take a guided city tour where you will see the Bahnhofstrasse and the Romanesque Cathedral, among other fascinating highlights. (Breakfast)

Day 22 Zurich
After breakfast, transfer to Zurich airport for your onward or homebound flight, taking many wonderful memories with you. (Breakfast)
