Seine River

Discover the history and romance of northwest France on a Seine River cruise. These sailings usually travel between Paris and the Normandy coast. Sightseeing tours in Paris take in the iconic sights of the "City of Light," such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the glittering Champs-Elysées. You'll also have free time in the French capital to shop or explore its inviting parks and distinctive neighborhoods.

Stop in Giverny, where guests tour the gardens and home of Claude Monet and see the Japanese bridge, water lilies and wisteria depicted in much of his art. In Rouen, view the magnificent cathedral, the medieval district and the market square where Joan of Arc was martyred. Les Andelys is home to the ruins of an imposing castle built by Richard Lionheart in 1196.

In Normandy, passengers visit D-Day landing sites and tour the American Cemetery, burial site of U.S. soldiers killed in World War II. Some itineraries take guests to Bayeaux to see the famous 11th-century tapestry that depicts the Battle of Hastings. Don't forget to sample Normandy specialties, like the apple brandy known as calvados, cider and Camembert cheese.

Our cruises are hassle-free because all the day-to-day details are handled for you by experienced tour directors. And in each stop along the way, sightseeing guides show you the top attractions and share their intimate knowledge of the locale. Plus, these trips are easy to budget, because so much is included in one price that you pay up front.
