American Cruise Lines specializes in small-ship cruising along the inland waterways and rivers of the United States. The company's Mississippi paddlewheeler is designed to easily navigate the Mississippi and its tributaries, docking in the heart of each port and taking you where larger ships could never go. Comfortable lounges and large observation decks are ideal for guests to relax, socialize and observe passing scenery and wildlife. Glass-enclosed dining salons provide panoramic views, and spacious staterooms feature large windows and roomy baths.
Onboard entertainment includes guest lecturers, local musicians, theatrical performances and games. A well-stocked library provides reading material and videos highlighting the regions visited. Carefully selected experts use informal lectures, open discussions and activities to share insight about local history, nature and culture.
