Intrepid's wide selection of adventure travel options includes cruises along the Nile and Yangtze rivers. Riverboat accommodations are comfortable, but you won't find all the amenities that appear on larger ships. Itineraries are packed with planned excursions -- some include light to moderate physical activity -- and guides are on hand to share their in-depth knowledge of the destination.

Intrepid's Nile and Yangtze cruises are typically combined with a land tour. One price covers your river cruise, hotel accommodations, all transportation and guided sightseeing.

River cruises are rated according to the quality of the vessel and its accommodations, the number of included amenities and activities both on and off the ship, the class of hotels used for land portions of itineraries, and the level of service delivered. Intrepid river cruises are categorized as budget on the industry rating scale (budget, first class and deluxe).

Budget = River cruises typically range from $100 to $200 per person, per day, plus airfare.
First Class = River cruises typically range from $150 to $350 per person, per day, plus airfare.
Deluxe = River cruises typically range from $250 to $650 per person, per day, plus airfare.
