Day 3 Giza > Luxor
Fly to Luxor and relax in the beautiful gardens of your hotel, your Special Stay for tonight. Discover the antiquities housed in the Luxor Museum followed by a walk through the colourful local markets. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4 Luxor > Nile Cruise
Optional Balloon Flight - Choose to add an optional hot air balloon flight for a fascinating bird’s-eye view of the ancient sites. Additional cost, please book on tour.
Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and be astounded by the well-preserved, colourful hieroglyphics adorning the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. See the impressive monument to Queen Hatshepsut, then admire the well-preserved temple of Ramses III. Return to Luxor and embark on your luxurious private charter on board the boutique Sanctuary Sun Boat III and settle into your elegantly appointed cabin. Late afternoon tour the vast open-air temple complex of Karnak, and be awed by the enormity of the pillars as you walk through the impressive Hypostyle Hall.

Day 5 Nile Cruise
Today travel to Dendera. Marvel at the vibrant colours of the hieroglyphics adorning the roof of Hathor’s temple before returning to Luxor and visiting the impressive Luxor temple. This evening’s entertainment will delight with the colours of the whirling dervishes and the mesmerising moves of a Nubian dancing performance. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6 Nile Cruise
Follow the course of the ancient Pharaohs’ processions along the Nile as you cruise south where villages and majestic temples line the banks of the river against the backdrop of the desert. This afternoon explore Kom Ombo temple, perched high on the east bank and dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god.
A fun night awaits on board with a lively and colourful Galabeyya party with Egyptian delicacies, music and dancing. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7 Nile Cruise
Cruise south to reach charming Aswan, the home of the Nubian people. Discover the Osiris temple complex of Philae, then visit the stone quarries to learn about ancient carving techniques and see the enormous unfinished obelisk. A leisurely afternoon awaits as you savour your last moments on board and take a felucca cruise on the Nile. Tonight join the Captain and crew for a farewell Gala Dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8 Nile Cruise > Aswan
Freechoice: Visit a traditional Nubian village or take a motorboat to the upper reaches of the Nile. Alternatively, discover the vibrant botanical gardens.

Day 10 Cairo
Discover the priceless antiquities in the Egyptian Museum including the artefacts recovered from Tutankhamun’s tomb and the collection of Royal Mummies.

Day 11 Cairo > Amman

Discover the ancient Roman city of Jerash, inhabited since the Bronze Age. Explore the impressive ruins and witness an exciting re-enactment of a Roman chariot race in the hippodrome. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 13 Amman > Petra
During a visit to the Royal Automobile Museum view the extensive private collection of the Royal Family. At Madaba discover the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land then continue to the rose red city of Petra for your two night stay. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 14 Petra
This magnificent World Heritage-listed city is the legacy of the Nabataeans, who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. The impressive eastern entrance leads through a brilliantly coloured narrow gorge to the imposing Treasury, more than 40 metres high. Day 15 Petra > Wadi Rum
After a free morning in Petra, continue your journey to Wadi Rum. You will feel like you have stepped onto the moon during your Special Stay in the luxurious Martian tents of the Sun Camp.

Day 16 Wadi Rum > Aqaba
This morning travel in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia as you discover the dramatic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Travel north toward the Dead Sea, stopping at Bethany Beyond the Jordan to see where Jesus was baptised and view the memorial to Moses at Mount Nebo.
