Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to your game lodge, adjacent to Kruger National Park, where you’ll enjoy a three night Special Stay. Set off on your first game drive this afternoon.
At the end of your game drive, partake in one of the most enjoyable of safari traditions – Sundowner drinks. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5 Thornybush Game Reserve (Kruger National Park)
Specially adapted Land Rovers are able to track the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

Day 7 Panorama Route > Johannesburg
Travel the Panorama Route en route to Johannesburg and see the Blyde River Canyon – the third deepest in the world. Stay at your stylish hotel for an overnight stay. (Breakfast)
Day 8 Johannesburg > Victoria Falls
Fly to Victoria Falls and marvel at the world’s largest sheet of falling water. Enjoy a three night Special Stay.
Be treated to a special Sundowners cruise down the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 9 Chobe National Park
Enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River, home to vast herds of elephants and buffalo as well as a game drive along the shoreline. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 10 Victoria Falls
Visit a typical Zimbabwean village to gain unique insights into traditional tribal life. Get up close and personal during your visit to an elephant sanctuary.

Day 11 Victoria Falls > Nairobi

Day 17 Amboseli National Reserve
Go in search of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 18 Amboseli National Reserve > Lake Nakuru National Park

The shallow alkaline lake near the town of Nakuru is home to vast bird populations.

Day 20 Masai Mara Reserve

Game drives through the Masai Mara encompass all types of animals, from lions, cheetahs, and leopards, to vast herds of zebras and antelopes.

Day 24 Nairobi > Giza (Cairo)
Bid farewell to Southern Africa as you fly from Nairobi to Cairo. At Giza enjoy a two night Special Stay, where you’ll be able to soak up the magnificent view of the Great Pyramids right from your balcony.

Day 25 Giza
Be awed by the sheer magnitude of the Pyramids and visit the Solar Boat Museum housing the restored cedar wood barge dating back to 2500 BC before marvelling at the 20-metre limestone monolith of the Sphinx. This evening watch the laser light display and entertaining show at the Pyramids. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 26 Giza > Luxor
Fly to Luxor and relax in the beautiful gardens of your Special Stay hotel for tonight. Discover the antiquities housed in the Luxor Museum followed by a walk through the colourful local markets. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 27 Luxor > Nile Cruise
Balloon Flight - Choose to add an optional hot air balloon flight for a fascinating bird’s-eye view of the ancient sites. (Additional cost, please book on tour.)
Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and be astounded by the well-preserved, colourful hieroglyphics adorning the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. See the impressive monument to Queen Hatshepsut, then admire the well-preserved temple of Ramses III. Return to Luxor and embark on your luxurious private charter on board the boutique Sanctuary Sun Boat III and settle into your elegantly appointed cabin. Late afternoon tour the vast open-air temple complex of Karnak and be awed by the enormity of the pillars as you walk through the impressive Hypostyle Hall.

Day 28 Nile Cruise
Relax on one of the Sun Decks and catch a glimpse of daily life along the banks of the Nile as you cruise to Dendera. Marvel at the vibrant colours of the hieroglyphics adorning the roof of Hathor’s temple before returning to Luxor and visiting the impressive Luxor temple. This evening’s entertainment will delight with the colours of the whirling dervishes and the mesmerising moves of a belly dancer. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 29 Nile Cruise
Follow the course of the ancient Pharaohs’ processions along the Nile as you cruise south where villages and majestic temples line the banks of the river against the backdrop of the desert. Discover the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most completely preserved complex in Egypt.
This afternoon explore Kom Ombo temple, perched high on the east bank and dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god. A fun night awaits on board with a lively Galabeyya party themed with Egyptian delicacies, music and dancing. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 30 Nile Cruise
Cruise south to reach charming Aswan, the home of the Nubian people. Discover the Osiris temple complex of Philae, then visit the stone quarries to learn about ancient carving techniques and see the enormous unfinished obelisk. A leisurely afternoon awaits as you savour your last moments on board and take a felucca cruise on the Nile. Tonight join the Captain and crew for a farewell Gala Dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 31 Nile Cruise > Aswan
Freechoice: Visit a traditional Nubian village or take a motorboat to the upper reaches of the Nile. Alternatively, discover the vibrant botanical gardens.

Day 33 Cairo
