Your journey into wonder begins in the glorious city of Prague. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a centrally located hotel for your two night stay. This evening, join your fellow travellers and Tour Director for a welcome drink.
Day 2 Prague
Discover one of Europe’s truly magical cities on a walking tour with a local guide.
Freechoice: Enjoy a walking tour of Prague’s communist era history. Alternatively, learn about the 900 year history of Strahov Monastery and delight in its many wonders such as the Treasury and art gallery, showcasing a vast array of important works from both Czech and international artists.

Day 3 Prague > Berlin
This morning, you’ll depart for Dresden, perhaps the greenest city in Germany. Enjoy an orientation tour of this charming city before continuing on to Germany’s capital, Berlin, where you’ll be treated to a three night Special Stay in one of the city’s most opulent hotels. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4 Berlin
Your introduction to Berlin begins with a guided tour. See the Brandenburg Gate and the State Opera House, then drive along the famous ‘Unter den Linden’ and visit the former Checkpoint Charlie area. Then, enjoy a true highlight with coffee and cake under the glass dome of the renovated Reichstag Building that was set on fire in 1933.
This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure to explore this magnificent city further. You may wish to imbibe the city’s thriving art scene or soak up its cafe culture. (Breakfast)
Day 5 Berlin
Freechoice: Visit the moving Berlin Wall memorial and the Hackesche Höfe, then ride Berlin’s subway and learn about the city’s Cold War period. Alternatively, journey to Potsdam, where a local guide will share their insights on the town and its history, and visit Cecilienhof Palace where the Potsdam Treaty was signed in 1945. (Breakfast)
Day 6 Berlin > Warsaw
Take a first class rail journey through Poland’s beautiful countryside to Warsaw, Poland’s cultural, entertainment and financial capital. Check into your hotel, your home for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7 Warsaw
Largely destroyed during World War II, Warsaw’s historic centre has been rebuilt and has attained World Heritage-listed status.
Your local guide will take you through the key sites including the Jewish Ghetto and monument to the Ghetto heroes, the Palace of Culture and the Chopin Memorial.
Freechoice: You have two vastly different but equally interesting options to choose from this afternoon. Tour the opulent Royal Castle, or learn more about the plight of the Jewish community on a visit to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
This evening, enjoy an exclusive piano concert of Chopin music in a manor house, followed by dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8 Warsaw > Krakow
Journey through Poland to Auschwitz and visit the former concentration camp and its museum for chilling reminders of the Holocaust in World War II. Early this evening, arrive in Krakow where your hotel for the next two nights is on the banks of the Wisla River. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 9 Krakow
Today’s sightseeing in this World Heritage-listed city includes a guided walking tour of the Old Town and a visit to the cathedral and the castle on Wawel Hill.
This afternoon you’ll visit the nearby 800-year-old Wieliczka Salt Mines and see statues of historic and mythical figures, sculpted by miners out of rock salt.

Day 10 Krakow > Budapest

Day 11 Budapest

Day 12 Vienna
As you cruise the mighty Danube, relax in one of the lounges and viewing areas and enjoy the scenery as your Scenic Space-Ship sails towards Vienna.
