Your journey into wonder begins at Giza with a three night Special Stay with views of the Great Pyramids from your balcony. Please book flights to arrive into Cairo by 2pm.

Day 2 Giza
Be awed by the sheer magnitude of the pyramids and visit the Solar Boat Museum housing the restored cedar wood barge dating back to 2500BC before marvelling at the 20 metre limestone monolith of the Sphinx. Visit the ancient site of Saqqara in the afternoon. At dusk, prepare for an exclusive night of historical discoveries as the doors of the new Grand Museum open just for you, long after they have closed to the general public. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3 Giza
Visit the site of one of World War II’s defining battles, El Alamein. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4 Giza > Aswan
Fly to Aswan where you will be ensconced in luxury during your two night Special Stay and admire the views over the Nile from the comfort of your balcony. Discover the history of the hotel and follow in the footsteps of icons like Princess Diana, Winston Churchill and Agatha Christie as you enjoy pre dinner drinks at The Terrace, before dining at restaurant 1902. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 Aswan
Freechoice: Visit a Nubian village or the beautiful but often-overlooked Kalabsha Temple on the shores of Lake Nasser. Alternatively, take a motorboat ride to the upper reaches of the Nile. (Breakfast)
Day 6 Aswan > Nile Cruise
Fly early to Abu Simbel and visit one of Egypt’s most magnificent monuments, the enormous World Heritage-listed temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari, rescued from the rising waters of the Aswan Dam. Embark on your luxurious private charter on board the boutique Sanctuary Sun Boat III as you settle into your elegantly appointed cabin. Discover the granite quarries of ancient Egypt, learn about ancient carving techniques and see the enormous unfinished obelisk. Later, enjoy a traditional felucca cruise on the Nile. Day 7 Nile Cruise
Discover the Osiris temple complex of Philae, then follow the course of the ancient pharaohs’ processions along the Nile as you cruise north. Explore Kom Ombo Temple, perched high on the east bank. A fun night awaits on board with a colourful Galabeyya party with Egyptian delicacies, music and dancing. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8 Nile Cruise
Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and admire the colourful hieroglyphics adorning the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. See the impressive monument to Queen Hatshepsut and the well-preserved temple of Ramses III. At the vast temple complex of Karnak, marvel at the enormous pillars as you walk through the impressive Hypostyle Hall. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 Nile Cruise
Travel to the temple complex of Dendera to admire the vibrant colours of the hieroglyphics adorning the roof of Hathor’s Temple. Disembark and join a walking tour through the local produce markets. Discover the fascinating antiquities housed in the Luxor Museum followed by the treasures of Luxor Temple. Tonight join the Captain and crew for a farewell Gala Dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 10 Luxor > Red Sea

Disembark and take a drive through the desert landscape to reach your luxurious resort, set on the shores of the Red Sea, for a two night Special Stay. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 11 Red Sea
Relax and enjoy a day at leisure on the sparkling shores of the Red Sea. Your resort features a daily activity program or you can just relax by the pool or beach.

Day 12 Red Sea > Cairo
Fly to Cairo for your two night stay. Discover the priceless antiquities in the Egyptian Museum including the artefacts recovered from Tutankhamun’s tomb and a selection of Royal Mummies. (Breakfast)
Day 13 Cairo
Discover Islamic Cairo and Khan el Khalili Bazaar and explore Old Cairo and the Hanging Temple of Babylon.
Tonight, join your Tour Director for a farewell to Egypt dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 14 Cairo > Amman
Fly to Amman, where you’ll enjoy a two night stay. This afternoon, walk through the food and produce markets before a welcome to Jordan dinner of local delicacies. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 15 Amman
Discover the ancient Roman city of Jerash, inhabited since the Bronze Age, and explore the impressive ruins.
Freechoice: Visit the Royal Automobile Museum and see the fascinating collection of cars belonging to the Royal Family. Alternatively, experience Jordan’s wine heritage with a wine and food tasting in the Abdali walking district. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 16 Amman > Wadi Rum
At Madaba, discover the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and visit the Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration. Continue to the dramatic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum where you will feel like you have stepped onto the moon during your Special Stay in the luxurious Martian tents of the Sun Camp.

Day 17 Wadi Rum > Petra
Travel in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia as you discover Wadi Rum. Explore Lawrence Road and marvel at the vistas of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of the pink and white sands. Continue to the Rose Red City of Petra for your two night stay. An unforgettable sight awaits as you visit the Treasury and chasms lit by candlelight. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 18 Petra
This magnificent World Heritage-listed city is the legacy of the Nabataeans, who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. The impressive eastern entrance leads through a brilliantly coloured narrow gorge to the imposing Treasury, more than 40 metres high. Designed to impress, the rock-cut facade will take your breath away. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 19 Petra > Dead Sea
At Bethany Beyond the Jordan, see where Jesus was baptised, then view the memorial to Moses at Mount Nebo. Travel north to your Special Stay resort for the next two nights on the shores of the Dead Sea. Relax and enjoy sweeping views over the Dead Sea and across to Israel from your balcony. Day 20 Dead Sea
Enjoy the facilities of your resort including direct access to the sea. Spoil yourself and allow the staff to lather you in therapeutic mud, or float in the hypersaline waters of the Dead Sea, while reading a book or newspaper. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a farewell dinner.
