Day 1 Berlin
Your journey begins in glorious Berlin. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxurious hotel for a three night stay. This evening join your fellow travellers and Tour Director for a welcome drink.
Day 2 Berlin
Your introduction to Berlin begins with a guided tour, see the Brandenburg Gate, State Opera House, then drive along the famous ‘Unter den Linden’ and visit the former Checkpoint Charlie area. Then, enjoy a true highlight with coffee and cake under the glass dome of the renovated Reichstag Building that was set on fire in 1933.
This afternoon enjoy time at leisure to explore this magnificent city further, you may wish to discover the cities thriving art scene or soak up it’s cafe culture. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3 Berlin
Freechoice: Visit the moving Berlin Wall memorial and the Hackesche Höfe, then ride Berlin’s subway and learn about the city’s Cold War period. Alternatively, journey to Potsdam, where a local guide will share his insights on the town and its history and visit Cecilienhof Palace where the Potsdam Treaty was signed in 1945. (Breakfast)
Day 4 Berlin > Warsaw
Travel by train through beautiful countryside to Warsaw, Poland’s cultural, entertainment and financial capital. Check into your hotel, your home for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5 Warsaw
Warsaw was largely destroyed in World War II, but the historic centre was rebuilt and has since attained World Heritage-listed status. Today you’ll visit the Jewish Ghetto with a local guide for a sombre reminder of the suffering endured in WWII. You’ll also see the monument to the Ghetto heroes, the Palace of Culture and the Chopin Memorial.
Freechoice: You have two vastly different but equally interesting options. Tour the opulent Royal Castle, or learn more of the plight of the Jewish community on a visit to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
This evening, enjoy an exclusive piano concert of Chopin’s immortal music in a manor house, followed by dinner. Indulge in all the wonderful sights, sounds and tastes on offer. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 6 Warsaw > Vilnius
After breakfast, depart Warsaw. Your route will take you into the pristine Mazurian region before crossing the border into Lithuania. Continue to the capital Vilnius and your base for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7 Vilnius
Delight in an insightful walking tour around the Old Town with its many examples of Baroque architecture. You’ll see all the famous landmarks, including the University, the Gates of Dawn, with its remarkable chapel, and the Vilnius Cathedral. (Breakfast)
Day 8 Vilnius > Riga
Depart Vilnius and drive north to the extraordinary Hill of Crosses. This symbol of Christian resistance to the Soviets features millions of small crosses which were repeatedly bulldozed during the occupation. Continue on to Riga and visit Rundale Palace and its magnificent gardens before checking into your hotell for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 Riga
Embark on a discovery of Riga’s Old Town, then tour the Ethnographical Open-Air Museum for an insight into Latvia’s heritage. Tonight enjoy an evening of traditional Latvian folk music with dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 10 Riga > Sigulda > Tallinn
Today you’ll visit Sigulda, set in the Gauja River Valley and known as the ‘Switzerland of Latvia’. Explore the stunning landscapes of this region and visit Turaida Castle. After lunch, continue towards Tallinn, passing through Parnu, Estonia’s summer capital. Arrive in Tallinn and relax at your hotel, your home for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11 Tallinn
Discover Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Tallinn’s famed Town Hall.
Freechoice: Visit the KUMU Art Museum, with its wide range of classic and contemporary art. Alternatively, be intrigued by the exhibits at the Seaplane Harbour Maritime Museum.

Day 12 Tallinn > Helsinki
Today, relax during your hydrofoil ride across the Baltic Sea to the trendy Finnish capital, Helsinki. On arrival, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour before arriving at your hotel for your overnight stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 13 Helsinki > St. Petersburg
Travel on the high-speed Allegro train to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival, board the luxury Scenic Tsar. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 14 St. Petersburg:
Freechoice: Explore the Imperial Bath House and Lower Garden at Peterhof on a guided tour, or be seduced by the sheer extravagance of Peterhof’s Grand Palace. Alternatively, wander the incomparable Upper and Lower Gardens at Peterhof.

Day 15 St. Petersburg
Freechoice: Visit magnificent St. Isaac’s Cathedral or discover Yusupov Palace, located on the Moika River. Revel in the wealth of the Yusupov family and learn about the mystery surrounding the assassination of Grigory Rasputin.

Day 16 St. Petersburg
Visit Catherine’s Palace, famous for its grandiose white and gold façade and elaborate gardens. Afterwards, enjoy a highlight lunch at the old-world wooden Podvorie restaurant. This afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore or relax as you please.

Day 17 St. Petersburg
A special highlight awaits as you visit the Hermitage, formerly the Winter Palace and home to Russia’s Imperial family. Today, it houses one of the world’s most magnificent art collections. Day 18 Mandrogi
Explore this charming museum village and its distinctive buildings before trying shashlik, a traditional meal similar to shish kebab. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 19 Kizhi Island
Dock at Kizhi Island, an open air museum with a precious collection of wooden churches and chapels. View the Church of the Transfiguration with its 22 timbered onion domes, easily amongst the most magnificent examples of wooden architecture in Russia, if not the world. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 20 Goritsy
Explore the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery, built in 1397 and home to a wonderful collection of Russian Orthodox icons. Back on board, toast the occasion with a little vodka, the beverage integral to Russian culture for over 600 years. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 21 Yaroslavl
