Day 2 Prague
Join your expert local guide to explore Prague in all its Gothic glory including the Old Town and its famous Astronomical Clock and the Charles Bridge, commissioned in 1357 by Charles IV.
Freechoice: Enjoy a walking tour of Prague’s communist-era history. Alternatively, learn about the 900 year history of Strahov Monastery and delight in its many wonders such as the Treasury and art gallery, showcasing a vast array of important works from both Czech and international artists.

Day 3 Prague
Stroll this magnificent city at your leisure. Situated on the banks of the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague is rich in history and home to some of the world’s most striking architectural wonders. Your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan. (Breakfast)
Day 4 Prague > Budapest
Depart for Budapest after breakfast. Upon arrival embark your Scenic Space Ship where you will toast the marvellous journey ahead of you at this evening’s welcome reception. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5 Budapest
Freechoice: Explore this beautiful city and enjoy a piano concert, or relax at the city’s Thermal Baths and Spa. Alternatively, brave the labyrinths of the Hospital in the Rock or take an active hike to Buda Hill. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6 Vienna
Relax on board your Scenic Space-Ship and enjoy the many splendid vistas as you cruise the beautiful Danube.
Breathe in the opulence and luxury of Palais Liechtenstein. Then be enthralled by an enchanting private classical evening concert featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart. With a special dedication to Beethoven as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birth. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7 Vienna
Freechoice: Take a guided tour of Vienna or visit Schönbrunn Palace. Alternatively, learn about Viennese coffee culture during a guided tour or opt to see Vienna on a bike tour.
Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Vienna’s magical Christmas markets. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 8 Dürnstein > Melk
Freechoice: Enjoy a guided bike ride from Dürnstein to Melk or be guided through Melk’s Benedictine Abbey. Alternatively, visit a Schnapps producer and sample some of the many flavours on offer. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 Passau > Salzburg
Let the ‘Best of The Sound of Music and Salzburg Show’ transport you to another time and place. Based on the timeless movie of the same name, this exclusive production is performed in the rolling hills of Salzburg. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 10 Regensburg
Enjoy a walking tour of this fabulous city including its well-preserved medieval centre. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11 Nuremberg
Welcome to this captivating Bavarian city, dating back to the 11th century.
Freechoice: Take a walking tour of this fascinating city, or visit moving WWII sites or take a gingerbread baking class. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 12 Bamberg
Explore the old town of Bamberg with a local guide. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 13 Würzburg
Freechoice: Take a guided tour of Rothenburg with time to wander the famed Reiterlesmarkt that has a history dating back to the 15th century. Alternatively, stay in Würzburg and visit the Bishop’s Residenz Palace and sample some delicious wine. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 14 Miltenberg
Freechoice: Visit the local monastery for a tour and insight into regional beer production or meet a winemaker and join him for a taste of his fine wines. Alternatively, be introduced to a Baron and Baroness and gain an understanding of how they celebrate the Christmas period or opt to visit a local Schnapps producer and toast to the festive season while sampling some of the many flavours that are on offer. You also have the opportunity to meet a local farming family and taste some of their home made produce. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 15 Rhine Gorge > Rüdesheim
Explore charming Rüdesheim, including a guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Enjoy free time and perhaps try some delicious glühwein or hot chestnuts amid the stalls. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 16 Cologne
Take a guided tour through Cologne before time at leisure to explore the delights of the Christmas markets. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 17 Amsterdam
Freechoice: Experience Amsterdam’s canals, or enjoy a tour of Zaanse Schans. Alternatively, taste Dutch Herring on a guided walking tour or take a cycling tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 18 Amsterdam > Paris
Travel by high-speed train to Paris, and spend three nights at a luxurious city hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 19 Paris
Freechoice: Discover Paris on a guided tour or marvel at the exhibits at the world-renowned Louvre. (Breakfast)
Day 20 Paris
You have a free day today so follow your heart through Paris. Your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan.
Freechoice Dining: Tonight, savour delicious cuisine at the Brasserie on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower. Alternatively, take in dinner and a show at the world-famous Lido. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 21 Paris
After breakfast, farewell Paris, taking the many wonderful memories you have made with you. (Breakfast)
