Day 2 Paris > Bordeaux
Travel in style aboard the TGV rail to Bordeaux. On arrival, your friendly crew will welcome you on board the luxurious Scenic Diamond. The Bordeaux region is home to countless gourmet delights and an incredible natural beauty and now is your chance to discover them. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3 Cadillac
Soak in the vistas as you cruise on board the luxurious Scenic Diamond into Cadillac. While cruising, perhaps drop into Scenic Culinaire.
Freechoice: This afternoon, learn about the refreshing French aperitif, Lillet during a visit to a renowned local producer. Alternatively, visit a truffle farm and sample this delicious regional delicacy, or visit Roquetaillade Castle, one of the regions most impressive historic sites.

Day 4 Cadillac > Pauillac
Freechoice: Venture into the Sauternes region for a tasting of the prestigious Château Guiraud dessert wines. Or cycle through the rolling vineyards of Sauternes to taste the exquisite Grand Cru Class wines of Château Lafaurie Peyraguey. Alternatively, enjoy a 12-kilometre roundtrip hike to the village of Loupiac. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 Pauillac
Freechoice: Travel the scenic Médoc wine route and discover why this region is viewed as the world’s leading red wine producer. Afterwards, sample the region’s finest at a local estate. Alternatively, cycle through the region to a grand château and sample delicious wine produced on the estate, or learn about the traditional craftsmanship of barrel making with a local cooper.
Set in the spectacular surrounds of the Médoc countryside, Château d’Agassac is truly enchanting. Dating back to the 13th century, the Château is one of the oldest winemaking establishments in the region and is the venue for your unforgettable dinner and evening classical concert. Day 6 Pauillac > Libourne
As you cruise to Libourne you’ll be invited to a blind wine tasting game. Take the opportunity to enjoy the complexities of a selection of regional varieties.
Spend the afternoon in the nearby town of Saint-Émilion, a visual feast and the jewel of this ancient wine-growing region. You’ll explore the underground catacombs of the Monolithic Church – a true trip highlight, before visiting the estate of Château de La Rivière for a cocktail and tasting experience. Sample regional delicacies such as soft creamy cheeses served with crunchy bread and fresh local charcuterie. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7 Libourne >Bordeaux
Freechoice: Enjoy a guided tour of Libourne, or travel by coach through the Pomerol region, famed for its delicious red wines, with the opportunity to visit one of its acclaimed estates for a wine tasting. Alternatively, take one of our on board e-bikes out for a cycle through the region, including a wine tasting, or discover the history of foie gras during a farm visit in Bergerac and gain an understanding of why this product is renowned as a delicacy as you delight in a tasting of this sweet and silky speciality.

Day 8 Bordeaux
Freechoice: Shop with a Chef at a local food market and cook up a storm in Scenic Culinaire afterwards. Or, enjoy a guided tour of Bordeaux and her many attractions. For the more energetic, see the sights by e-bike. Back on board this afternoon, we’ve organised a Cheese of France experience, as you taste the country’s celebrated cheeses, which we’ve matched with wines (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 Bordeaux
Freechoice: Journey to Arcachon and join a walking tour including a visit to the local Baltard market, or stay in Bordeaux and take a tram to the Cité du Vin museum and enjoy an interactive journey of wine discovery. Alternatively, if whisky is more to your taste, you can visit a local producer at Moon Harbour Whisky.
Later, indulge in a tasting of fresh oysters with champagne, before your highlight dinner of seafood, sourced from Arcachon Bay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 10 Bourg
Freechoice: Spend a full day exploring the fortified town of Cognac, renowned for its production of fine brandy and, afterwards, enjoy a tasting at the acclaimed property of Rémy Martin. Alternatively, visit the Carriages Museum inside Bourg Castle and discover the unique collection of horse-drawn vehicles on display. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11 Bourg > Blaye
Freechoice: Stroll through the charming Citadel of Blaye, or take a more active walk through the town. Alternatively, join a 30-kilometre roundtrip cycle along the Captain’s Road. Or, explore the stunning beauty of the fairytale Château de La Roche Courbon. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Disembark and transfer to Bordeaux airport with memories of a truly unforgettable journey.
