Day 1 Overnight Flight

Day 2 Zurich, Switzerland - Tour Begins
Your tour opens in Zurich, Switzerland. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 3 Zurich - Lucerne - Basel - Board Cruise Ship
Experience Lucerne, the “Swiss Paradise on the Lake.” On a leisurely paced Alstadt (Old Town) walking tour, see the hidden treasures of this 800-year-old city, including the covered Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument. Head to Basel and board your ship. Your home for the next seven nights, the ship offers an array of amenities including outside staterooms, unlimited wine with every dinner, and daily onboard musical performances. This evening, enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a welcome aboard dinner. (B,D)
Day 4 Strasbourg, France
Cross the French border and experience Strasbourg, a fairytale town that blends centuries of international influences to create its own unique culture. On a guided tour of the old quarter, Petite France, take in the iconic timber-framed houses, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, and Place de la République. Make the most of some free time to explore this perfectly preserved town before returning to your ship. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Speyer, Germany - Mannheim
Sail to Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest cities, and step back in time on a walking tour to explore the Old Gate and the Jewish baths. Later, the river takes you to Mannheim where you will have free time to explore this German city and its parks on your own. Perhaps you will join an optional excursion to Heidelberg, an ancient city of Renaissance buildings and castle ramparts. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Rüdesheim - Koblenz
Your first stop of the day is Rüdesheim, which you’ll explore with an expert guide. Visit the city’s famous Siegfried’s Mechanisches Musikkabinett (Mechanical Music Museum) and hear the traditional music of barrel organs and medieval instruments. Your next stop is Koblenz; get to know this 2,000-year-old city on a tour before docking for the evening. See such sights as the town’s old quarter, badly damaged during World War II and then rebuilt, as well as the Schaengel Fountain at the town hall. (B,L,D)
Day 7 Moselle River - Cochem
Continue along the Moselle River to Cochem, a storybook town overlooking the water. Embark on a guided tour through the town and into Reichsburg Castle, a fortress perched high above the surrounding area. End your tour in one of Cochem’s wine cellars, introducing you to the culture with a local winemaker and a tasting of regional Mosel wines. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Cologne
As the sun rises, cross into the Rhine River and pass through the picturesque German landscape dotted with medieval towns. Your journey brings you to Cologne, where you will join a guide for a walking tour of the city’s Gothic Old Town. Wander along cobblestone streets and admire the Cologne Cathedral, the Roman Dionysus mosaic, and the Romanesque church of St. Martin. End your day at the Captain’s Gala Dinner – a lively celebration of food, music and entertainment. (B,L,D)
Day 9 Amsterdam, Netherlands
Begin your day in Amsterdam, a city of narrow canals and stone bridges. Embark on a tour with a local expert before seeing the city from a different perspective, voyaging along the city’s centuries-old canal system. Day 10 Amsterdam - Disembark Ship - Tour Ends
